Get a taste of summer with water-based smoothies: three refreshing recipes

With warm weather on the horizon, what could possibly be better than a smoothie to jumpstart your day? Smoothies often use milk or water as a base ingredient, but water is an excellent alternative for anyone who’s looking for a lighter, less sweet, and more hydrating sip.

Here are three smoothie recipes that pack in an explosion of bright flavours, with natural spring water as a base.

Watermelon smoothie

This smoothie is the definition of summer. Juicy watermelon blends perfectly with fresh mint and silky greek yogurt, while chia seeds add a little crunch while creating a more balanced consistency.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of watermelon, cubed
  • Small handful of mint (approx. 10 leaves)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Eska spring water

Kiwi and spinach smoothie

This green smoothie is a great energy booster. Kiwi and spinach are loaded with vitamins, while banana and avocado blend into a creamy and satisfying texture.

Ingredients:

  • 2 kiwis, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 1 cup spinach, bien tassés
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 3/4 cup Eska spring water

Cherry and lemon smoothie

If you’re into intense flavour, this wonderfully tart smoothie is for you. Cherry and lemon is a dynamic duo that will light up your senses all season long.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cherries, pitted (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Eska lemon sparkling water

This water-based smoothie recipe is an invitation to enjoy summer’s simple pleasures! Each sip is a celebration of natural fruit flavours, amplified by the purity of our lemon sparkling water. Cheers!
